Gingerbread Hearts

I don't know what exactly put the idea of gingerbread into my head but something did and then it had to be made. The good thing about gingerbread is that your quite likely (well I am anyway) to have the ingredients in the cupboard and it's quick and easy. Even I can make it! The recipe I used was one I copied off of my Aunty. Thank you! xx

12oz pl flour, 1tsp bicarb, 2 tsp ground ginger, 4 tbsp golden syrup, 1 egg, 6oz brown sugar, 4oz 

-Preheat oven to 190°c
-Sift flour, bicarb and ginger and mix
-Add butter and crumble into breadcrumbs
-Add beaten egg and syrup to mix and form dough
-Roll out and cut into shapes
-Line baking tray and cook biscuits for 10-15 minutes.
